An overview and my Experience with the Anycubic Vyper

Earlier this year we received an Anycubic Vyper to test and review and to use to help education. We received the printer but were not paid to do the review.
Here is an overview of Anycubic:
Founded in 2015, Anycubic has become one of the most popular 3D printer brands in the market, with around 300 employees based in Shenzhen, China. But, we didn’t start fancy as it seems to look today.
“Graduated in 2015, I came back to China from New Zealand. I was so excited and full of curiosity when landed in Shenzhen the first time”, Mr. James Ouyang, co-founder of Anycubic and a Ph.D of University of Auckland said. “Lu Ouyang, Anycubic’s Founder and CEO, is my childhood friend. He had a company before Anycubic providing electronic modules and 3D printer accessories for over 4 years.” “3D printer itself wasn’t our first choice. We hadn’t even had the confidence to rush in. But after seeing clients increasingly relying on us for key components of their DIY printers, We realized we could do it, and do it much better.”
“I didn’t think much but only hope to explore more possibilities with the 3D printing technology. There is nothing to be afraid of. So why not make a difference.” Ouyang added.
In 2015, Anycubic was founded, without much hesitation.
“Following our heart is important. But the real world is harsh. There were so many up and downs. We cannot remember how many sleepless nights out there at the early stage.” Anycubic founders said. After a whole year’s hard work, the first model Anycubic Mega came on board in 2016. Fortunately our work paid off. Mega became so popular in the market in a short period of time and our journey as a professional 3D printer maker officially started. We all were amazed and excited but we did not stop there. The second and third generations were launched soon after along the way.
3Dream, for freedom to make
Indeed, 3D printing technologies can do a lot. But first of all we believe 3D printers should be accessible and affordable to all instead of being rocket science and beyond budget. We believe each one of us deserves the freedom to make our ideas, creativity and imagination a reality. Anycubic is committed to being one of the best choices for freedom to make.
Side by side with you, we know we will make it.
As a well-known 3D printer R&D vendor and service provider, Anycubic has established sales, marketing and service system for clients all around the world, providing professional technology solutions and services, including 3D printing system operation services, rental of 3D printers, financing lease, sales promotion services, personal 3D printing consultation and also training services. With its advanced product portfolio and professional service, Anycubic satisfies the 3D printing requirements and improves user experience for its clients.
Here are specfications of the Anycubic Vyper:

Our perception of the printer:
Setup:
Overall the printer came with instructions and pictures and it was easy to assemble.
It was a matter of installing a few screws, connectors and that was it.
The printer is self leveling. So once has to turn the printer on and select leveling and the printer levels itself an saves the settings.
Quality:
The printer seems fairly well designed and well made. We had an issue with the leveling mechanism, however, we merely had to contact Anycubic and they sent us the replacement parts and instructions. The replacement hotend and leveling mechanism worked much better than the first one and we have had no issues with it.
The touchscreen comes with the printer and is functional and works well enough. There is a community firmware that I tried out that allows more control of the printer. Another nice thing about the printer is that there is a solid online community that helps one another. One is on facebook and the folks there and the support they offer is very good.

Anycubic also has a solid website with good resources too:

The Vyper comes with a drawer to put items into as well as a decent magnetic bed, which makes it easier to remove objects from the bed.
Our vyper seems solid and the print quality has been good.
I have made some videos to check out the Vyper on facebook and youtube.

If you are looking for a new printer that works well and is easy to maintain, repair, and operate this is a solid choice at a decent price.
In my perception the printer works well, especially with PLA and PETG and seems solidly built and is easy to use.
Here are some cool prints that I found on Gamebody that were printer on the Vyper!
Here is a print that was posted in Vyper facebook group!
Here is a link to a video that I did on Facebook with regards to the Vyper!
